Emily Lee
Nutrient Management Specialist

Emily Lee was born in Ross, Ohio where she grew up working alongside her father, growing and tending a love for the land and livestock. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in crop and soil science with a minor in animal science from Brigham Young University – Idaho. She then went on to Mississippi State University to teach soils lab and conduct cover crop research.

Over the years, she has worked on a ranch at the base of the Tetons, a hog farm in the great plains of eastern Colorado, and made her way back to Idaho working as an agronomist for large potato farms. Ensuring agronomic applications were cost-effective while striving to increase quality and yields, potato cellar management, directing planting, harvest, and shipping crews, and working alongside the ISDA and USDA to certify potato seed and table stock potatoes, Emily brings a love of agriculture to the table. She truly enjoys working alongside the great agricultural producers of our nation!

In 2022, she married Jacob at the base of the Grand Tetons at sunrise. Together they planted roots in Kimberly, Idaho and are on their next adventure of raising a family. Helping the agricultural industry thrive is her passion. She knows the importance for the next generation to continue to be stewards of land and livestock and pass on the love for agriculture.
