Katlyn Scarrow serves as the Nutrient Management Specialist for IDA. Katlyn grew up near her family’s dairy farm, Scarrow Dairy, and during summers she would spend time with the calves, marking tails during vet checks, helping her dad fix things up, moving water, and helping with random odds and ends on the dairy.

Katlyn graduated in May 2024 from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Science with emphasis in Business and Dairy Science. During her time at the University of Idaho, Katlyn served as the Vice President of the UI Dairy Club, Team Leader for 2024 UI National Dairy Challenge Team, was a Chobani Scholar, and worked in an agricultural biotechnology laboratory on campus.

Katlyn has gained many laboratory and field-testing skills through her experiences, is excel certified, and has an intermediate knowledge of the Spanish language. Katlyn joined IDA in August 2024.
